Sunday morning, November 1, 1903 at 6:30, occurred the death of GEORGE WEAVER, his demise taking place at his home one mile and a half south of Michigantown. Death was due to typhoid fever after an illness of five weeks. The funeral was held at the Christian church at Michigantown, Tuesday morning at 10:30, Rev. Lewis officiating and the body was laid to rest at the Whiteman cemetery. By the death of George Weaver one of the best known young men of this community is removed. He was born in Montgomery county Feb. 20, 1880, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Al Weaver. His mother died when he was a small boy. George was universally beloved by all who knew him, his kind face will be missed. He was cheerful and happy at all times. He was one of family of five children. He leaves three sisters, Mrs. May Deal, Mrs. Kansas Stuard, both of Michigantown, and Maggie, the only single sister, and one brother, Sam, and a father and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. Although he had been ill for five weeks his illness was not considered dangerous until Wednesday morning when his condition became critical and he rapidly grew worse until he died. C. D.
