March 1 1890 - Death of RD Wert, Alamo

R. D. Wert, who lived a mile and a half northwest of Alamo, died at his home last Saturday at the age of 68 years. He was one of the oldest citizens of Ripley Township. He was buried yesterday under the auspices of the Waynetown Masonic Lodge, of which he was an honored member.

A mistake occurred in last week’s Journal in regard to R. D. Wert. He was 76 years old at the time of his death and belonged to the Alamo Masonic Lodge since 1854 and was buried under the auspices of the Alamo lodge.
