Weese - Willard - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

 

Mrs. Lulu Smith received word Friday morning of the death of  Willard WEESE, Jr. of near Rossville; he was the son of Willard  and Mary Weese of Lebanon. Weese had been flying his plane and  was coming in for a landing to take his wife for a flight when  the supposition is, he suffered a heart attack. He was down to 50  feet and his wife reports that she saw his head drop forward then  his body pitch forward before the plane crashed and burned. His  wife rushed to him and called to him, but he never moved. By the  time help arrived his body was burned beyond recognition. He  leaves his wife, father and mother and one brother, Pat who  graduated from Waveland HS class of 1951 while the family lived  near Waveland. Funeral services were held Sunday Sept 13 at  Rossville. - transcribed by kbz
