Waynetown -- Services for John L. Webster, 70, former Waynetown resident who died Tuesday in a nursing home at Delta, Colorado will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Servies Funeral Home here. Rev. Guy E. Tremaine will officiate and burial will be in Wayetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:30 a.m. Monday. Mr. Webster was born march 10, 1890, near Marshall, the son of Albert T> and Ida May Haas Webster. He was married Dec 21, 1914 to Verda Pierce at Danville, Ill. she preceded him in death Jan 20, 1951. He was a painter and paper hanger and also was employed by the Charles Snyder Gas Service. His family moved to this community when Mr. Webster was a small boy. After his marriage he lived in Tremont, Ill. He moved back to this community later. After the death of his wife he went to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Helen Harbath of Montrose Colo. He had been a patient in the nursing home at Delta for the past year. Survivors include the daughter, a son, Hugh J. Webster of Hillsboro, 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are two cousins, William Shutz and Mrs. M.B. Snyder of Waynetown. Preceding him in death besides the wife were an infant son, Paul Leonard Webster and 3 sisters, Mrs. Elsie Perry, Mrs. Edith Davies and Mrs. Mamie Pickett.
