Mrs. Jane Webb died on Tuesday evening of neuralgia of the heart. She lived in part of a house on W. Main St. with Mr. & Mrs. Harry Galey. She lived alone. She was seen about 6 o'clock and was seemingly well. About 7 o'clock, a neighbor, Mrs. Charles Hayes went to her rooms to take her some milk and found her lying on the floor dead. The seizure was evidently sudden, as she had a dish cloth in her hand, and had in falling spilled a pan of water over her. Word was immediately sent to her only child, John Webb, who lives in Paris, Ill. Coroner Griffith was called to view the body on Tuesday morning. Fun. serv. at the Christian Church on Thurs. morning were conducted by Rev. OS Stewart. Interment at Mt. Moriah. Obituary will appear next week. - transcribed by kbz
