NEW RICHMOND—Mrs. Maude M. Waye, 75, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Gruensfelder Home, Rt. 6 Crawfordsville, where she had lived the past seven months. She had been in ill health several years. She was born April 19, 1885, near Lizton in Hendricks County, a daughter of Rev. George S. and Rachel M. Mason Joseph. She married Forest Waye Sept. 6, 1949 in Crawfordsville. Mrs. Waye was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church. Surviving are the husband; two brothers, H. C. and Jesse M. Joseph of Thorntown, and two sisters, Mrs. Neva Smith Bappert of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Anna Dixson of Linden. One sister preceded Mrs. Waye in death. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Helms Funeral Home in Linden, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. John Cachiaras will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Crawfordsville.
