Waynetown - Foster Watts, 86, of 206 W. Walnut Street, Waynetown died at 1:10 p.m. Sunday in his home here. He was a retired barber in the Waynetown and Crawfordsville communities. Mr. Watts was a veteran of WWI. He graduated from the Indiana Barbers College. He was a 50-year and charter member of Waynetown American Legion. Mr. Watts was a member of the Center Christian Church near Elmdale. He was born at New Richmond Oct 16, 1889, a son of John T. and Hepsey Jane Watts. He married Cecil F. Fine Aug 12, 1920. Surviving are the wife;a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Morris of Rosenda, Calif; a grandson William Morris and several niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters and a grandson. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Herber Woollard officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
