Glen Watson, the five months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Watson, died Tuesday night, June 29, with congestion of the brain. His suffering lasted but two days, during which time the little angel battled with death manfully. With his little arms and eyes he begged for help, but none could be given. How sad for the dear parents to give up their darling. How deep their wound, but remember, dear ones, there is no wound that heaven cannot heal. Still those little arms reach and beacon for us to come to him, but with his little angel voice he says, “Rejoice that I have gone to a great physician who can give aid and relief to my little suffering body. He gives me rest.” Then let us not weep. There is no death. The stars go down to rise upon a fairer shore.
Funeral services were conducted by Dr. Leech at the home of his grandparents on West Pike Street. Internment was at Oak Hill. -s
