Ruth Anna Reynolds, daughter of James and Alice Reynolds was born in Crawfordsville April 9th, 1893. In June 1911 she was united in marriage to Charles Thomas Watson also of this city. To this union no children came to bless their home. She departed this life for that home on high Oct 13, 1918. She leaves besides her husband to mourn her loss, a mother, Mrs. Alice Reynolds of Indianapolis; a brother, Charles living at home; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Richardson of Indianapolis; Mrs. Sallie Ruffner of Cutler, Ind and Mrs. Millie Edwards of this city. Ruth was of a sunny disposition always taking the things of life as they were meted out to her, was kind to all with whom she came in contact and always had a smile for every one. She will be greatly missed from the community where she lived as well as from the home circle. And when our time shall come for us .. to cross death's chilling tide .. We trust of Savior will guide us on ... to meet with theee on the other side. .. Mrs. AK - transcribed by kbz
