Alsie Lee Humphrey-DuChane-Watson, 89, died Wednesday in Elm Croft Assisted Living, Muncie. Mrs. Watson retired from the Indiana State University Bookstore in 1974. She was a Garfield High School graduate. She was born Sept. 30, 1914, at Terre Haute, to Irl and Cora Humphrey. Her previous husbands, Everett DuChane and Sam Watson, are deceased. Survivors include two sons Bill DuChane, Muncie, and Don DuChane, Napperville, Ill.; a brother, Dr. Paul Humphrey; seven grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. A son, Robert DuChane; two brothers, Delbert Humphrey and Dr. James Humphrey; two sisters, Mayme Watkins and Mildred Davis Kravets, are deceased. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Roselawn Memorial Park, Terre Haute. Friends may call an hour before the service.
