Waynetown July 22 - Mrs. Lula May Waters passed away this morning at 1 o'clock after an illness of three years with paralysis. Mrs. Water was born Oct 28, 1877 near Sylvania in Parke County and was the daughter of Miles and Harriet Little Thompson. Most of her life has been spent in Parke, Montgomery and Fountain counties.

On December 27, 1900, she was united in marriage to Charles E. Waters who with her father and five children survive. They are: Mary, Dorothy, Harriet, Pauline and James. One brother, Arthur Thompson of Hillsboro, three half sisters, two half brothers and one step brother of Parke County also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home in Waynetown where the deceased has resided for the past five years and will be in charge of Rev. Clay, pastor of the Newtown Methodist Church.  Interment will take place at the Waynetown Masonic cemetery. - kbz
