James Lee Washburn, 54, a former Crawfordsville resident, died Thursday afternoon in a Fort Wayne nursing home. He was born here June 25, 1922, a son of James and Margaret Washburn. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hargis of Spencer and Mrs. Alberta Symmes of Indianapolis, and two nieces. Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery. - jlr
