Waynetown - Mabel G. Warren, 89, of Waynetown died at 12:31 a.m. Monday in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. Mrs. Warren was a bookkeeper for ANAFAM Corp at Waynetown which she co-owned with her husband. She was also co-owner of the Wayne Auto Co and the Hillsboro, Veedersburg and Attica Grain Companies also in conjunction with her late husband.
She was a member of Waynetown Christian Church, Dorothy Q Chapter DAR, Waynetown/Alamo Order of Eastern Star of which she was a 50-plus year member and charter member of the Beta Chi chapter of Psi Iota Xi sorority. She was a graduate of Hillsboro HS.

She was born July 24, 1905 at Hillsboro to Warren and Mary Fraizer Graves. She married James D. Warren Oct 6, 1923. He died in 1982. Survivors include cousins, Mrs. Virginia Branagan of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Louise EItner of Hillsboro, Mrs. Lois McMahan of Terre Haute,Mrs. Helen Alfrey of Syracuse Ind and Mrs. Maxine Fuller of Encino, Calif.
She was preceded by an infant son in 1925, a sister and a cousin. The funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. Ed Maurer officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today.
