Warren, Mrs. Lyda E. – Friends may call at Hippensteel Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Services in Hippensteel Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Graveside services in Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville, at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Surviving are five grandchildren.

Mrs. Lyda E. (Serings – sic – Sering) Warren who made her home at 1205 Holly Drive with her son, William Warren, who is area plan director, died at 9:40 p.m. Monday in Home Hospital. She had been ill for a year and hospitalized the last time for 11 days. She was born and reared at Crawfordsville and was married there to Walter Field Warren in 1920. He died last March 29. She lived in Crawfordsille until 1956 when she moved to Lafayette. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Crawfordsville. Surviving are three sons, William with whom she lived; John T. of Danville, Ill and Joseph A. of Lafayette and a brother, George Serings (sic) of Oak Park, Ill.
