VEEDERSBURG — George Warren, 73-year-old native of Veedersburg, died at noon Sunday at his home in Winterhaven, Fla. He had been ill six months. Mr. Warren had operated a shoe store at Winterhaven until he was forced to retire recently because of ailing health. He was born Oct. 25, 1890, the son of Rev. Pash and Sally Trinkle Warren. He was married to Goldie Snyder of Veedersburg, who survives. Mr. Warren was a member of the Christian Church. He served with the U.S. Army during World War I. He attended high school here and was a 1914 graduate of Wabash College. Survivors include the widow. Funeral services will be conducted at Winterhaven. Burial also will be at Winterhaven. --typed by Walt W
