Mrs. Esley Anna WARREN, wife of Morgan Warren and for many years a resident of Crawfordsville passed away at t he home on East Chestnut St, Saturday morning. Mrs. Warren's death occurred at six o'clock and followed a 10-day illness of pneumonia. The deceased was born at Smartsburg Jan 9, 1849, the daughter of Hiram and Esley E. MOTE. The early years of her life were spent in that community. She was a member of the Smartsburg Baptist Church. Those who survive are her husband, two sons, Grant & Samuel Warren, both of this city and one daughter, Mrs. John Birch of Crawfordsville; a third son, McClelland Warren passed away 1919. The funeral services will be conducted at the Utterback & Murphy Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. EA Arthur of the Memorial Presbyterian Church officiating. The burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
