Dr. Carroll B. Warren of Marion, brother of Dr. Winston Warren of Crawfordsville, died recently. Born in Kentucky, he spent most of his childhood in Marshall. He attended Wabash College where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1945. Since graduation, Dr. Warren practiced obstetrics and gynacology at Marion. During World War II, he served as a medical officer at Japan. Survivors include his widow, Pauline; two daughters; a son; six grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Bradford Warren of Marshall; two sisters; and a brother. Private services will be Friday morning in Needham Funeral Home at Marion. They will be followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday in the Presbyterian Church at Marion. The family reqests memorials in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. – jlr
