Crawfordsville Nov 4 – Lee S. Warner, age 73, a member of the firm of Warner & Peck, Clothiers of this city died of heart diseases Thursday at his home here, following a brief illness. He had been in business in Crawfordsville since 1893, during which time he was prominent in the business and social life of that city. Mr. Warner was born near Vienna, coming to the US with his parents when 13 years old. The family settled in NY City, later living in Savanna, GA and Buffalo NY.  Mr. Warner was married in 1873 at Buffalo to Miss Rachael Wiener, who, with three children, Mrs. Dumont M. Peck of this city; Mrs. William Brinkley of Indianapolis and Mr. Sydney Warner of Akron, O. survive.  Mr. Warner was engaged in business for some time at Effingham Ill from where he came here buying the business of Jolly Joel. He was prominently identified with the Masonic, Elks and Odd Fellows lodges. Dumont M. Peck, his son-in-law had been associated with him in business here for 20 years. -kbz
