James Crutchfield and Mrs. Levi Pickard returned Thursday from Gila, Illinois where they attended the funeral of their sister, Mrs. N. B. Ware. Mrs. Ware's death was a great shock to her friends, for, excepting a tendency to asthma, she was in good health and had worked all day Tuesday. About 4 o'clock she went out in the orchard, where she was seized by a smothering fit. She was assisted to the house, she sank to the floor and died in about 5 minutes. She leaves a husband and two children.
