Indianapolis - Morris E. "Gne" Ware, 56, of Indianapolis died at 7 p.m. Thursday in Community Hospital at Indianapolis. Mr. Ware was a member of Western Star Masonic Lodge, F&AM at Danville, Murat Shrine, Scottish Rite and Danville Moose Lodge. He was a car salesman and service manager for Dave Waite Pontiac at Indianapolis. Prior to that he was employed by Don Pence Oldsmobile Dealership at Danville. At one time he owned Ware's Filling Station at Danville.
He was born May 11, 1928 at Danville, a son of Walter and Ida Cline Ware. He was married Sept 9, 1974 at Indianapolis to Roberta Kirts. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Steve and Donnie of Danville; three daughters, Kim of Danville, Susan and Sherry; two stepsons, Michael and Joseph Stites of California; a stepdaughter, Jodi Hollingsworth of Indianapolis; five sisters, Alta Harp of FLorida and Gladys McMath, Josephine Pollack, Marge Evans and Delores Aldridge, all of Indianapolis and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael; two brothers, Herschel and Conrad; and two sisters, Onita and Jessie.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Baker Funeral Home at Danville with Rev. Michael Thornburg officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. kz
