Ward -Mary Rosenbarger - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Mary Ward, 70, expired at her home, (note: there is a big black line right down the middle of this one so hopefuly I can decipher most of it) 220 W Main Street at 8 o'clock Sunday night following an illness of several months' duration with a complication of diseases.  Mrs. Ward was born in Harrison County, (Ind or Del I believe) the daughter of Emmanuel and Rosanna Rosenbarger on Oct 7 (possibly 17) 1868.  She was married at Veedersburg, Nov 18, 1895 to Grant W. Ward who survives.

The last of 12 children, she was a resident of this city since 1918.  She was a member of the Christian Church and Ben Hur Lodge.  Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Mrs. WD Kline and Mrs. Russell Horner both of this city, and seven grandchildresn.  One daughter, Mrs. Niles O. Evans preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the First Christian Church with Rev. Paul E. Million, pastor of the church officiating.  Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour preceeding the services.
