Mrs. Ethel E. Ward, 84, 726 E. Main St., died. at 3 a.m. Monday in Culver Hospital. She was born April 18, in Montgomery County, daughter of James and Dora Kennedy Campbell. She was married in 1906 to Jesse Ward, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Ward was a 1902 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and was a member of the First Christian Church. She taught Sunday School and was active in church functions. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Doris Rovenstine; three granddaughters, Mrs. Rosemary Stutzman of Warsaw, and Mrs. Rita Yoder and Miss Rita Rovenstine, both of Bourbon; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Servies officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
