Ward - Eleanor

Mrs. Eleanor Ward, the widow of the late David G. Ward, died at the home of her son, Stephen Ward, last Monday, in her eighty-seventh year.
She was born in Pennsylvania, and came to Indiana in 1814 when five years of age. She was married to David Ward in 1826, with whom she lived almost seventy years. For over forty years she was a consistent member of the christian church.
She was buried on Wednesday in the Odd Fellows cemetery, at Darlington, the funeral services being conducted by reverends, Williamson and Trotter. - thanks Kim H
