Clinton, Ind Jan 15 – Chas. Wantland was shot and fatally wounded by Fred Harden at a mining camp south of Clinton last night. Wantland accused Harden of making remarks about Mrs. Wantland and during the fight which ensued Harden drew a revolver and fired two shots, which took effect in Wantland’s abdomen. – kbz
