Mrs. Daphne L. Wann, 32 years old, wife of NG Wann former Earlham coach died at Reid Memorial Hospital Sunday night at 9 o'clock. News of the death of Mrs. Wann came as a great shock and surprise to her friends as she was apparently in her usual health until just a few hours before her death which was caused by general peritonitis. Mrs. Wann came here with her husband in 1922 when he took up his duties as coach of Earlham college and since that time has made many friends here. She was born May 29, 1894 at Noblesville. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Mr. Wann is now coach at Muncie state Normal. Besides the husband, the mother, Mrs. Florence Bratton and one sister, Mrs. Charles P. Ogaton of Chicago survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home one-half mile west of the city on the National Road. The Rev LO Richmond of Shelbyville, who married the Wanns at Shelbyville on Christmas Eve 13 years ago will have charge of the services. Burial will be made at the Wesley Cemetery at Waynetown Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends may call after 10 o'clock Tuesday morning
