LADOGA – Glenn B. Walsh, 86, died yesterday in Woodland Nursing Home at Danville, Ill. Mr. Walsh was a retired farmer from the Roachdale and Ladoga area. He was a member of the Roachdale Masonic Lodge and was the last member of the first basketball team of Roachdale. He was born in Putnam County, Dec. 29, 1889, to John and Ella B. Bridges Walsh. He was married to Ann Otterman Oct. 16, 1912. She preceded him in death. Mr. Walsh is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louise Smullen of Decatur; two grandchildren, Mrs. Robert O’Dell of Ladoga and Michael Smullen of Decatur; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Perkins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. tonight. – jlr
