Darlington – Henry Walliser 82 died at noon Friday in the Small Nursing Home a Waynetown where he had been a patient the past four and one-half months. He had been in failing health several years Born Dec 16, 1878 near Kingston, Oho, he was the son of Robert and Mary Welshimier Walliser. He was married Oct 1, 1905 in Montgomery County to Margaret Rothwell Parker. She died Jun 8, 1960. Mr. Walliser moved to Sugar Creek Township in 1901 and began farming. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Walliser started housekeeping in Montgomery County. They moved to this community 10 years ago. Mr. Walliser was a member of the Potato Creek Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ross Boots of Darlington, a son, Louis Walliser of Lebanon; two granddaughters, Becky Boots of Crawfordsville and Cheryl Walliser of Lebanon and a grandson, Fred Walliser of Lebanon. He was preceded in death by a daughter and a grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Bright Funeral Home here with Rev. AL Vermillion, pastor of the Potato Creek Church in charge. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery at Colfax. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday - "kbz"
