Waller - Rebecca Hope

Rebecca Evaline Waller, daughter of Miner and Mary Hope was born in Byron County, Kentucky January 12, 1850 and departed this life May 58 (sic 28th) 1914 at the age of 64 years 4 months 13 days at the home of Roy Miles near Waveland. At the age of 17 she united with the 1st Methodist Church and has always lived a faithful member. In 1881, she was united in marriage to John Waller of Kentucky and to this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Percy Sutherlin of Russellville. Mrs. Waller was a kind and loving mother, wife, neighbor and friend. She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, daughter, 3 sister, six brother, one half brother, two half sisters, 3 step daughters, Mrs. Linzey Hope, Mrs. Emory Copus, Mrs. Jim Archer, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren besides a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services at the home on Saturday morning were conducted by Rev. Wm. W. Speer. Interment at Sutherlin cemetery, south of Russellville. -- kbz
