Indianapolis Sentinel - Assistant Postmaster David Wallace received a dispatch yesterday announcing the serious condition of Mrs. Zerelda G. Wallace who has been visiting relatives in Chicago.  Several dispatches were received during the day, conveying the information that she was prostrated by the heat and that her relatives were much alarmed.  Mrs. Wallace is about 70 years old, the wife of ex-Governor Wallace, mother of Postmaster Wallace.  She is prominent both in this state and in the country through her identification with the Women’s Christian Temperance union and earnest advocacy on the platform of prohibition principles.  Mr. Wallace left at once for Chicago.
