Nicol Wallace, 69, native of Scotland, died at his home near here (Linnsburg) Monday morning at 5 o'clock. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. He had been in failing health for a year. The dec. was b. in Forfarshire, Scotland, July 12, 1861 the son of James and Mary Wallace. He was married Aug 18, 1897 to Anna Buck. He was a member of the Whitesville Christian Church. The surviviors include the wife; a son, John of Missouri and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Tripp of Mt. Carrol, Ill. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral services will be held at the First Christian Church at Crawfordsville Thurs morning at 10:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery The body will lie in state at the Church from 9:30 o'clock until time for the services. - typed by kbz
