COVINGTON – Mrs. Lelia Wallace, 87, mother of Covington Attorney James B. Wallace, died at 1 a.m. today in Tall Trees Nursing Home here, where she had been a resident since May, 1972. She had been in failing health three months. She was a member of Covington United Methodist Church and the “Win-One” class of the church Sunday School. She was also active in Troy Township Democratic Women’s Club. She was born Feb. 28, 1886, at Dixon, Ky., a daughter of Thomas and Sarah Page. Surviving besides the son are a daughter, Mrs. William (Page) Krainock of Mountain View, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Onie Mitchell of Sturgis, Ky.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Hegg Funeral Home here with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday. – jlr
