James Albert Wallace, 57, superintendent of the Ben Hur Home, in Crawfordsville died Sunday at his residence, following a heart attack. Mr. Wallace had been connected with the Ben Hur Association for over 25 years. Bron at Shawnee Mound, April 22, 1876, he was the son of Aaron and Bessie Wallace. In June 1900 he was married to Crietie Snyder who survives with two daughters, Mrs. Albert Karle of Crawfordsville and Mrs. George Everson of Gary; a son, Aaron of Berkeley, Cal; his mother, Mrs. Bessie Wallace; a brother, Arthur Wallace of Lafayette and five grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from the son in California. – kbz
