EDD WALLACE Edd D. Wallace 73, died June 30, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born July 17, 1949 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to Raymond and Virginia (Taylor) Wallace. On November 4, 1972 he married Marilyn K Reber in Newton and she survives of the home. Edd served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Trinity Heights United Methodist Church in Newton. He graduated from Wichita State University and retired as a American Family Insurance agent in Newton. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of the home; sons Chad (Tara) Wallace and Jeremy (Libby) Wallace; 3 brothers: Ernie, Roy and Dick Wallace. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren. Edd is preceded in death by his parents and one son Eric. A public visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday July 7, 2023 at Petersen Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial service for close friends and family will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ray Nicodemus officiating. A private family interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
