Benjamin F. Walkup departed this life last Tuesday, aged 62 years, seven months and seven days. He leaves a sorrowing wife, two sons and two daughters to mourn his loss. Rev. Green preached his funeral at Union, Thursday to a large congregation and interment was at Union Cemetery.

B. F. Walkup, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Montgomery County, died Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at his home near Mace, at the age of sixty two years.
