William E. “Ed” Walker, 64, a Montgomery County native, died at 2:45 p.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. He resided at Rt. 8, Crawfordsville. He was a veteran of World War II. He was born Sept. 23, 1909. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Laura Beck and Mrs. Beverly Gish of Dallas, Tex., Joyce Hale of Fontana, Calif., Linda Burkey of Murford, Tenn., Sharon Mays of Dawson, Ga., Jacqueline Williams of Frankfort and Sally Northcutt of Henderson, Ky.; a brother, Leslie Walker of Chicago, 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Jolley, his wife and a brother. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Holland officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
