Mrs. Mittie Walker, 58, widow of Earl Walker, died at Lake View Hospital, in Danville, Ill t 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan 6 having been a medical patient there since Dec 21. Mrs Walker resided in Olivet, Ill for a number of years, but was formerly of Hillsboro, where she is well known. She was born near Hillsboro the daughter of Miles and Lily Nicholson Cooper and was married to Earl Walker about 35 years ago. He preceded her in death in August 1946. She was a very active worker in the Nazarene Church of Olivet. Mrs. Walker is survived by five sons, Curtis Walker of Flint, Mich; Myron Walker of Olivet; Gerald Walker of the US Navy located in Florida; William Walker, Purdue student and Jimmy Walker, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Larner, of Flint, Mich and Mrs. Lena Mae Redding of California; four grandchildren. She also leaves four brothers, Henry and Shirley Cooper of Indianapolis, Sollie and Marion Cooper of Hillsboro and three sisters: Mrs. Ida Clemmons and Mrs. Katy Stuart of Muncie and Miss Mary Cooper, a missionary in Africa. Also an aged mother-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Walker, who resided in the home of Mrs. Mittie Walker in Olivet. Funeral arrangements are
