Walker - Lillie Carlton

Mrs. Lillie Walker, 73, of Aurora, mother of Mrs. Don (Dorothy) Miller of Crawfordsville, died Thursday in Dearborn County Hospital at Lawrenceburg. She was retired from Seagram’s Distillery at Lawrenceburg and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was born Sept. 12, 1903, a daughter of John and Frances Carlton. She married Albert Walker, who preceded her in death. Surviving besides the daughter, are two sons, Marvin of Aurora and Albert of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Clarence Carlton of Aurora; and a sister, Lula Walker of Aurora. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rullman Funeral Home at Aurora with the Rev. Branson Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Aurora Emergency Fund. – jlr
