Waynetown --- Mrs. Cora M. Walker, 86, died at her home in Waynetown Thursday evening. She had been a telephone operator for 30 years at Williamsport. After retirement at 65, she lived in Williamsport until three years ago when she moved to Waynetown. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Williamsport United Church of Christ and was educated in Fountain County. She was born Dec. 6, 1885, in Fountain County north of Wallace, the daughter of Pleasant and Hester A. Grimes Livengood. She married Carl A. Walker of Wallace in 1910. He preceded her in death in 1958. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Richard Darling of Flushing, Long Island, New York, and Mrs. Oran Fenters of Waynetown; eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, one granddaughter and two brothers, Albert and Wilford. Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Servies - Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Douglas Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral homes after 3 p.m. Saturday. - kbz
