Mrs. Lula Waldon, 59, died Tuesday afternoon at her home, 416 Lafayette Ave following a six months' illness. She was born Sept 20, 1885 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, the daughter of Calvin and Emma Houston Thompson. She was married June 4, 1911 to Arthur Waldon who survives. Mrs. Waldon had been a resident of Crawfordsville since she was 16 and was a member of the Nazarene church here. Survivors in addition to Mrs. Waldon are 3 sons, Lloyd in the southwest Pacific with the Army; Dean and William both at home; and one daughter, Mrs. Delcie Carver, RR 5; three daughters and a son preceded her in death. Funeral will be at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home. Friends may call at the family residence until noon Thursday.- transcribed by kbz
