Mrs. Cynthia M. Waldon, 62, died at her home, 1815 Delaware Street, this city, at 2:25 a.m. Friday after 5 years of ill health. Death was caused by complications. Mrs. Waldon was born on Jan 10, 1879 in Rock Castle County, Kentucky, the daughter of Squire and Phoebie Cummings Thompson and on May 2, 1896, she was married to G. Alf Waldon. She had been a resident of Crawfordsville for 42 years. She was a member of the East Side Baptist Church. Mrs. Waldon is survived by her husband and 9 children, Squire T. Waldon of Indianapolis; Mrs. Grace houston of this city, Jewell E. Waldon of Indianapolis, Mrs. Marie Caldwell of ANderson, Glen Waldon and Floyd Waldon of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Wand Fulford of Indianapolis, Lester Waldon of Ft. Benjamin Harrison and Mrs. Kathryn Carroll of this city. One sister, a brother, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren survive. Two sons, Virgil and Bennett Waldon preceded her in death. the funeral will be held from Profitt & Sons Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. David Canine, assisted by Rev. Esmond Elliott. Burial will be made at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the late family home until noon Sunday.
