Arthur Glen Waldon, 70, died suddenly at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at his home, 315 Lafayette Ave. He was born in Illinois, March 4, 1892, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Waldon and was reared in Fountain and Montgomery Counties. He was married to Emma Lou Thompson who died in 1944. They lived for a time near Attica. Mr. Waldon was a painter and paper hanger. Surviving are 3 sons , Lloyd G. and Floyd of Crawfordsville and William of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Fairfield of Crawfordsville, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Belle Watling of Symerton, Ill and 12 grandchildren plus a great grandchild. A daughter, three sisters, and a brother are deceased. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Bright Funeral Home, Rev. Darrel Luther of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial in Wesley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday - kbz
