Virgil Walden, 26, died of a sudden heart attack at his home, 1006 E. Pike Street, Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The deceased was born in this city July 11, 1906, the son of Alfred and Cynthia Walden. He was married to Lornetta Thomas May 10, 1930 He was a decorator and painter. Surviving are the widow; the parents, 5 brothers, Jewell, Squire, Floyd, Glen and Lester, four sisters, Marie Caldwell, Wanda Fulford, Grace Houston and Catherine Walden;a nd several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. EE Antrobus. Burial in Waynetown Cemetery.
