Waveland -- Leevena Walden died at her home here Thursday night about 10:45 o'clock after a ten-weeks illness with complications. Leevena was born the daughter of Will and Lucie Holland, at Summer Shade, Ky on April 8, 1880. She was married to Garfield Walden on August 3, 1904. She was a member of the Waveland Christian Church. She had resided in Brown Township for the past 20 years. Surviving are the husband, two sons, Lloyd of Danville, Ill and Raymond at home, one sister, Mrs. Anabell Mifler of Kentucky. One brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be this Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Waveland Christian Church with Rev. William Hedrick of Indianapolis officiating. Burial will be made in the Russellville Cemetery. - kbz

Mrs. Garfield Walden died at her home on E. Green St. at 11 on Monday evening. Funeral services at the Christian Church on Thursday morning were in charge of Rev. W.D. Headrick of Indianapolis. Burial at Russellville Cemetery. Luvena Holland Walden was the daughter of Will and Lucie Holland. She was born at Summer Shade, Ky, April 8, 1880. After coming to Indiana she made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Willis Perkins. She married Garfield Walden Aug 3, 1904. She is survived by the husband and two sons Lloyd of Danville, Ill and Raymond. She was a member of the Christian Church having joined under the ministry of Rev. E.E. Moorman. Mrs. Walden was of a sincere and helpful disposition and many friends will regret her passing. - kbz
