Beulah Lee Walden, beloved daughter of Alvah and Dona Walden d. at Union Culver Hospital, Thurs. eve. at 9:20 o'clock, after 5 weeks of severe suffering following an operation for appendicitis. She was b. on the Warrick farm So. of Waveland Oct 5, 1900 and was laid to rest on her 12th birthday Oct 5, 1912. She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted parents, one brother, Harold Glenn, aged 6, one grandfather, two grandmothers, besides a number of uncles, aunts and a host of friends. Beulah during her short life here was of a loving disposition. She loved everyone with whom she came in contact and even through severe suffering was so glad to welcome the face of a friend at her beside, and was conscious until the death angel called her home. She will be missed through the days to come but each day will be a reminder of her. Funeral services were conducted at the Russellville Christian Church by Rev. EE Moorman, pastor at Englewood Christian Church, Indianapolis. Interment in Russellville Cemetery -- kbz

Beulah, the 12-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Walden, was operated on for appendicitis at Culver Monday. She stood the operation very well

(Note: she died a few weeks later and was buried in Russellville Cemetery on her 12th birthday, 5 Oct 1900.)
