Mrs. Hannah Wainscott at one time a resident of this place died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ella Troxell at College Corner. The body arrived here Wednesday morning at 8:27 and was taken to the ME Church where the funeral service was held by Rev. CB Stanforth of Crawfordsville. Burial took place in the IOOF Cemetery. Mrs. Wainscott was the widow of Rev. Wainscott who more than 20 years ago was pastor of the Christian Church in Garfield. She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Troxell and Mrs. Milton Williams of Terre Haute. - kbz
