Wainscott - Elias

Elias Wainscott was born in Montgomery County, Indiana April 23, 1840 and died at his home in Hendricks County, north of Lizton December 4, 1903 aged 63 years 7 months 11 days. On April 26, 1868 he was married to Rebecca OXLEY and to them were born four children: Nettie A, Robert H, Orville and Carl. Mr. Wainscott was one of a large family of which two brothers and 3 sisters survive him. Funeral exercises were held at Old Union Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Carney of Advance. Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Jamestown. - kbz
