Wallace, Jan. 28 -- Funeral services for Eli Wagoner who expired at his home south of here Saturday will be conducted at the Phanuel Lutheran Church at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon by Rev. C.L. Airhart of New Market. Interment in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery Mr. Wagoner is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Fred Washburn of Mankato, Mn a son, Ransom of RFD 1, Veedersburg, a brother Alfred of Attica a sister, Mrs. Lear Summers, Waynetown, a half sister, Mrs. Zula Gans, Wallace, 3 half-brothers, Ephie Good, Waveland and Alonzo and Charles both of Waynetown, 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was affiliated with the Phanuel Lutheran Church. - kbz

Wallace, Jan 27 - Eli Wagoner 77, the son of John and Amanda Myers Wagoner, died at 4 o'clock Saturday morning at his home south of Wallace, after an illness of a few days. Death was caused by complications. He was born in Parke County Jan 20, 1862, the son of John and Amanda Myers Wagoner. On Oct 24, 1884, he was married to Alice Barker who died in July 1925. He was later married to Harriet Livengood who died March 31, 1938. Mr. Wagoner was a member of the Wallace Lutheran Church. Surviving are two children by his first marriage: Ransom Wagoner of near Wallace and Mrs. Anna Washburn of Mankota, Minn and 12 grandchildren. The body was taken to the home of the son, Ransom Wagoner. Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed. - kbz
