CRAWFORDSVILLE — Mrs. Emma Fern Wagner, 76, of Crawfordsville, died at 7:15 a.m. today in Carmen Nursing Home. She had been ill one year. Born at St. James, Mo., Mrs. Wagner lived most of her life in Montgomery County and had lived in the New Richmond area before moving to Crawfordsville. In 1921 she was married to Orie A. Wagner, who farmed in the New Richmond area. He died in 1974. Mrs. Wagner was a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Otis (Helen) Thayer of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Kenneth (Roberta) Thayer of Lafayette; one son, William E. Wagner of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a brother, Lewis Martin of Santa Rosa, Calif.
