Wingate -- Mrs. Hepsey Jane Watts, died Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Steve Wainscott, east of Wingate. Her death, caused by complications, followed an illness of two months. She was born August 30, 1859, in this community, the daughter of David and Susan Dazey. She was married to John T. Watts 52 years ago. Mrs. Watts was a membe rof the Center Christian Church. She is survived by 9 children. They are: Mrs. Lou Dazey of Alamo, Mrs. Lora Wilson of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Belle Lane of Wingate; Willard Watts of Crawfordsville; David Watts of White Cloud, Mich; Foster Watts of Waynetown; Mrs. Nell Vaught of Dayton, Oh; Carl Watts of New Richmond and Mrs. Steve Wainscott of Wingate. Two brothers, A W. Dazey and Frank Dazey also survive. Her husband died 15 yeaers ago and one child in infancy. The funeral will be held from the Center Christian Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon with burial at Oakland Cemetery. - -typed by kbz
