Ira W. Wasson who died in Crawfordsville on Monday, was well
known here as he was prominent in political matters. Mrs. Wasson,
who survives is a daughter of Robert Y. Williams and a sister is
the mother of Hubert Reed. He was the son of John C. and Florence
Oliver Wasson and was born near Parkersburg Feb 4, 1881. He was
bookkeeper for the Smith & Duckworth Lumber c o for many
years. Besides the wife there is a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Allman
